I choose Jurassic park because I was reading it and I thought I should finish reading it. It is good, it is very descriptive and it has a good story line so far.

Mr. Hammond’s goal is to create a “biological park”, he is rich and he wants more money, he dislikes the EPA because there always trying to get into the park, he says it safe but I don’t get why he doesn’t want them in then.

I really like the book so far, its funny and serious, the begging isn’t very exciting, I think its “setting up” for the rest of the book. When I was reading about the miniature elephant I though it was kind of ironic.

Yeah, It made we wonder if we will ever able to clone or make dinosaurs in the future. If we could I a dinosaur zoo would make so much money. I was wondering how the girl got bit at the beach, its not like a dinosaur could have gotten off the island.

this book reminds me of when I was little and I loved dinosaur. I remember one time I got a dinosaur book for Christmas, I still have it.

No, maybe not put in as many characters, its kind of hard to follow, but other wise i love this book. Also the prologue hasn't tied in with the book yet, its really starting to bother me.
Tuesday 4/2/10 (Question 13) My favorite character in the book is Allan Grant, he is really smart and knows a lot about dinosaurs, being a paleontologist is one of my dream jobs.
Friday 5/2/10 (News Article) A 10 year old boy was killed by savage dogs last Saturday . He was walking to a cousins house to visit and his body was discovered around 11:25 that morning. His brother Sonny had a speech disorder, and he was only able to make sounds, and his brother Keith was the only one able to understand him. His father (Clifford Iron) thinks that all the dogs should be spaded and neutered, i dont see how that would help.
Reading Log - The Giver
Tuesday 9/2/10 (Paragraph #1) From the start of this book its tone seems non-exciting. The cover has a picture of an old man on it, and i read the back and I think that he is "the giver". Maybe this book might be about a town that is separate from society and he tells people what the real world is like.

I haven’t yet, I really enjoy his writing style, he uses very descriptive words and a lot of them. I think I will read “The Lost World” when I am done. (Other books, The Andromeda Strain, Congo, Travels, Sphere, Rising Sun, Disclosure, The Lost World, Airframe, Timeline, Prey, State of Fear, Next)
